This policy describes how the VectorSpace iPhone apps handle information and how this apps website works.
Camera input and on-device processing
Detection and tracking run on your iPhone. Camera frames are not uploaded to VectorSpace or a remote AI service for analysis. The apps request camera permission for live capture. They do not record microphone audio.
CrowdFlux uses temporary track numbers and short-term clothing appearance samples in device memory to help match returning tracks. It does not identify faces or infer gender. These samples are not saved as a person database.
Reports, recordings and preferences
The apps save session reports, counts, performance measurements and your selected settings on the device. Ghostlane reports can include traffic categories, crossing directions and estimated speeds. CrowdFlux reports can include venue details and time zone. Annotated MP4 recording is optional and off by default.
Reports and recording folders are excluded from automatic device backup by the apps. Settings may follow your device’s backup behaviour. Copies you export are handled by the destination you choose.
Location, maps and Apple services
Location permission is optional. When enabled, the apps can attach the camera’s location to a session. You can also choose a map pin, and imported video may include filming coordinates. This is the filming location, not a separate location for every tracked object or person.
Maps, place search and address lookup use Apple services, which may receive coordinates and search queries to provide results. These services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Counting works without location permission.
Sharing and deletion
Nothing is shared automatically through the apps’ export controls. If you share a CSV or video, it may include venue, location and tracking information. The service or recipient you select handles the shared copy under its own practices.
You can delete sessions in History, including their associated tracked videos. Deletion does not remove original imported files or copies exported to other apps or services. Temporary tracking memory is cleared as sessions and camera sources are reset or interrupted.
Website and support
This website has no advertising pixels, analytics SDKs, account registration or tracking cookies. Your browser contacts the website host to load pages and assets; the hosting provider may process connection information such as IP addresses for delivery and security.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and retain correspondence only as needed for support and applicable obligations. You can ask us about or request deletion of your support correspondence.
The separate VectorSpace consultancy website includes the Spacy AI assistant. This apps website does not load that assistant or send app usage to it.
Your controls
Manage Camera and Location permissions in iPhone Settings. Turn recording and automatic location saving on or off within the app before a session. Keep your device protected and consider the people and places visible in any recording you choose to share.
